Lackawanna College Lake Region Center

Lackawanna College has moved from its previous location in Honesdale to the historic Hawley Silk Mill. The college occupies the top floor's entire 16,000 square ft, and is creating a state-of-the-art academic center that will allow it to grow in terms of student population and academic offerings. Included in the design are classrooms, computer labs, science labs and other student resources.  This expansion allows Lackawanna to add new programs to their existing offerings.

The Kiesendahl School of Hospitality and Tourism opened this past year with a major in Hospitality Management, and will add a major in Culinary Arts for Fall 2011. Additionally, this fall a Physical Therapy Assistant and Ecological Sustainability degrees will be offered, and the Continuing Education Program will offer a one-year career advancement program in Oil & Gas Accounting.

Lackawanna College Lake Region Center is a full service operation, providing business and industry training, continuing education courses, and degree and certificate programs, located at 8 Silk Mill Dr. in Hawley, Pennsylvania.
