Art is prevalent in the Pocono Mountains, and there are several amazing galleries to prove it. While you can find an array of local art at the Hawley Silk Mill, including the Looking Glass Art Gallery and Art on the Edge, the Pocono Mountains offer a variety of locations to see the work of regional artisans. Here’s a look at a few of the best places to find local art in the Poconos.

Operated by the Pocono Arts Council, ARTSPACE Gallery features local art, hosting a range of exhibits throughout the year. From botanical and floral artwork to abstract, these exhibitions are open to students as well as professionals. With each exhibit, the Pocono Arts Council also holds an artist reception and award ceremony after selecting the top pieces. Art has also been donated to the local art gallery, including select pieces from Morris Berman’s collection, which seeks to divulge the contradictions of modern life. Other guest collections appear sporadically.
