The Best Things to Do at Wally Ice Fest
As one of the year’s best Lake Region events, Wally Ice Fest offers plenty of activities to enjoy. Whether you choose to admire the wide variety of ice sculptures or participate in the curling demonstrations, you can spend the entire day enjoying the winter weather and making memories with your loved ones. Wally Ice Fest 2023 is scheduled to take place February 4-5 on Lake Russell Road in Newfoundland not far from Lake Wallenpaupack.
Ice Hockey
There is nothing quite like playing a game of ice hockey on a naturally frozen lake. The hockey tournament is one of Wally Ice Fest’s main events and offers any visitor the opportunity to win the ultimate trophy. The best part? Little is required of participants other than a pair of skates, a hockey stick, gloves, a helmet, and some laughs. Several ice rinks will be prepared for play in a number of divisions. The tournament is played on both days of the festival, so feel free to swing by anytime and try your luck at becoming a Wally Ice Fest Hockey champion.
