This deliciously fun festival appeals to a wide variety of visitors and benefits the Settlers Cares Foundation. More About the Chili and Wing Cook-Off

Each March, the best chili and wing chefs in Northeast Pennsylvania will come together at The Waterfront at Silver Birches Resort for the ultimate cooking competition! Not only will you get to watch the contestants create their culinary masterpieces, but you’ll also have the opportunity to try them for yourself. It’s every foodie’s dream come true! Visitors will also enjoy a beer tasting at The Dock on Wallenpaupack and live music in the pub. That way, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the event! Tickets are $30 at the door.

Come Back for the Wally Wine Fest

Raise your glasses! Wally Wine Fest, hosted in April, is a spectacular event at Silver Birches Resort that features over 100 wines. A number of wineries will be present at this event to offer samples of their tastiest selections. Indulge in the classic flavors of Europe, South America, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and other bottles from around the world. General admission is $60 and includes a commemorative wine glass and seated wine tasting. Cheers to that! You may also purchase a Platinum tickets for $200.

Don’t Leave Hawley Silk Mill Off Your Itinerary

Hawley Silk Mill has been a vital part of this community since its construction in 1880. Its many uses over the years have included a silk factory, a textile factory, and antique center. Never has it been more vibrant than today. The vision for the repurposed factory is to serve as a center that celebrates the lifestyle of the Pocono Lake Region – a place for the residents and visitors alike to shop, gather, eat, exercise, and learn.
